What does LadyBalance® do?
LadyBalance® treats and prevents bacterial vaginosis and yeast infections, and eliminates unpleasant vaginal odour, discharge, dryness, itching, and soreness.
LadyBalance® is a prebiotic vaginal tablet that safely and naturally restores and maintains the balance of good vaginal bacteria and pH levels.
LadyBalance® contains lactose monohydrate, a safe ingredient that stimulates and enhances the growth of the good bacteria called lactobacilli to healthy, effective levels.
Lactose is the natural food for these beneficial bacteria. This process restores the natural balance of the beneficial bacteria and the pH level.
The good bacteria produce lactic acid. This helps restore the natural pH to its normal, slightly acidic level, creating an environment that is hostile to the bad bacteria and yeast.
The good bacteria also produce a natural antibiotic called Lactocillin that directly kills harmful bacteria.

When should I use LadyBalance®?

Infections and symptoms can occur for many reasons, including activities such as swimming, sex, IUD use, vaginal washes, systemic antibiotics, and others, such as hormonal changes due to pregnancy or menopause, stress, and age.

How do I use LadyBalance®?

LadyBalance® is a prebiotic vaginal tablet. No special storage is required. The tablet is highly stable and can last up to 8 years.
LadyBalance® is for vaginal use only. The tablets should be kept dry and out of the reach and sight of children.
Do not use if you are allergic to milk.
LadyBalance® contains traces of milk proteins. However, it can be used in cases of dietary lactose intolerance.
Using your clean finger, insert the LadyBalance® vaginal tablet deep into your vagina.
The recommended dosage is listed below based on the intended use.
If you have an infection or are showing symptoms, treat these first with LadyBalance®, and then use LadyBalance® to prevent recurrent infections and maintain good vaginal health.
For treatment using LadyBalance® only, use 1 vaginal tablet daily until symptoms improve. This usually occurs after 1 week of use for bacterial vaginosis and yeast infections with unpleasant odour and discharge, and usually 1 to 2 weeks after use for vaginal dryness, itching, irritation and soreness. After this treatment, switch to the prevention dosage listed below.
For antibiotic combination treatment for high grade infections use 1/2 to 1 vaginal tablet daily after the antibiotic treatment for 1 to 2 weeks. After this treatment, switch to the prevention dosage listed below.
For prevention of recurrent infections and to maintain good vaginal health use 1/2 to 1 vaginal tablet on alternate days between menstrual cycles, from 3 to 20 insertions per month.
If symptoms persist, see your doctor. There may be a more serious condition present.
